Our
School
Copper Mountain Middle School is the brand new 26-acre school in Herriman. Our school is located on Anthem Park Blvd with the beautiful Oquirrh Mountains in the background. The school is comprised of students three different middle schools. We are excited to blend these amazing schools and form our own fantastic school! Not only is Copper Mountain beautiful; it is also energy efficient and safe. The community has opened its arms and welcomed our school and staff. We are so excited to be part of this amazing area.
Our
Students
Every student at Copper Mountain is an important, valuable individual. Each student has certain rights once he/she enters school property. Each student has the right to acquire a quality education in a safe environment. Each student has the right to be treated with respect by both fellow students and teachers. Each student has the right to express his/her thoughts and feelings in an appropriate manner.
With these rights come certain responsibilities. Each student has the responsibility to treat his/her fellow students and teachers with the same respect with which he/she expects to be treated.

Mission
At Copper Mountain Middle School, our mission is to educate all students in a safe and supportive environment where they can learn to be responsible global citizens.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are implementing Standards-Based Grading. Standards are what teachers are required to teach and students are expected to learn at each grade level in each subject. Class standards, or learning goals, are broken down into two parts: what students need to know and what students need to do. Teachers will use data collected through Mastery Connect to arrange tutoring and mentoring.
